hey there! 👋 i'm rohan, a junior studying computer science at uc san diego, and swe intern at moebius solutions.
i grew up in vancouver, canada, where my curiosity for how things worked started early. i was the kid who loved taking apart gadgets just to see what was inside, which eventually turned into a love for technology and problem-solving.
in high school, i explored this passion further by joining my school’s ftc robotics team and cyberpatriot club, experiences that taught me teamwork and creativity, and how rewarding it feels to build something that actually works.
during my time at uc san diego, i’ve focused on growing as both a developer and collaborator.
through internships, programs, and organizations like moebius solutions, tech mahindra, nasa’s community college aerospace scholars, and the association of computer machinery, i’ve had the chance to apply my skills in professional settings, from building distributed python systems to designing mission control software for a simulated lunar rover.
i’ve also grown a lot through hackathons like ucsd’s diamondhacks, where working under tight deadlines and experimenting with new tools helped me create projects that connect people and solve problems in innovative ways.
outside of technology, I’m someone who genuinely values connection and exploration.
i enjoy spending time with friends through late-night hangouts, coffee runs, or spontaneous adventures, and i believe those shared moments matter as much as any professional achievement. meeting new people and hearing their stories is something i really value.
i also love traveling and hiking, and am always seeking out new places to see and people to meet, because every experience teaches me something new and keeps life exciting.
